Can Fibre Machine
The SRI can fibre machine gives accurate and consistent measurements of fibre in prepared sugar cane samples. It has been approved and adopted throughout the Australian sugar industry for cane payment purposes.
Major features
- Microprocessor control provides impressive measurement repeatability (less than 0.10% standard deviation) and automates all sample washing and drying operations.
- High throughput, with six complete samples prepared in less than 7 ½ hours.
- Simple operation. For example, no external fibre retention system is necessary as the initial hot water recirculation phase converts the prepared cane sample into the filter bed for subsequent washing cycles.
Commissioning
Most sugar factories commission and operate their SRI can fibre machines without external assistance. However we can provide engineers onsite to assist with commissioning and training if necessary.

SRI can fibre machines are industrial-grade products, suitable for the harsh environment typical of a sugar mill. They will give many years of trouble-free service.
